Mei is a 100% Superwash Merino, fingering weight yarn. With 435 yards, there's plenty of yarn to use for a variety of projects.
Colors were added in multiple layers, to replicate the different amber tones of whiskey in a bottle. Beautiful!
The colorway name is after a quote in the "Dawn of the Peck" episode of Bob's Burgers: "Hey daytime whiskey, do you want to meet my CD collection? I have a feeling you would hit it off…"
All fiber is hand dyed with colorfast dyes. These are not commercially dyed, so each lot is unique and there can be variation within the same dyelot. If you purchase more than one skein, I will try to match them as closely as possible. It's still recommended to switch between skeins to create a blended look if you are planning on using more than one skein in a project.
Though all efforts have been made to rinse until clear, different water types and temperatures may cause dye to release. Please make an effort to rinse in cool water with a color catcher or detergent (e.g. synthrapol), so that if any dye does release it does not reattach elsewhere.
Note: Monitor calibrations may cause colors to slightly vary from screen to screen, though I believe them to be represented as true-to-color as possible.
