There are projects finished that need blocking, but I'd rather not. Ever feel that way? Like it was a struggle to get yourself to finish the thing, and now it just needs to be put away, out of sight, until you randomly happen upon it at a later date. Maybe that time apart allows the negative feelings to flit away, leaving room for you to fall in love with it all over again; and all you have to do at that point is block and wear it. The May fiber and yarn clubs have been sent out, so it's time to reveal their colorway, Blanket of Mist at Dawn. I have to admit this was a really calming colorway to dye up. Here you can see the fiber, which was New Zealand merino with a 16.5 micron count. It has a lot of fluff and bounce, and is incredibly soft. The yarn club was dyed in the same colorway, and worked up beautifully in the swatch I share below. This particularly skein is an MCN (Merino, Cashmere, Nylon).
